FCMB celebrates customers‘ week

FCMB celebrates customers

As service-oriented organisations around the world mark this year‘s Customer Service Week, First City Monument Bank Plc has announced that it will use the opportunity of this year‘s customers‘ week to appreciate the patronage and relationship it had shared with its customers over the years.

A statement by the bank on Wednesday quoted the Group Managing Director, Mr. Ladi Balogun, as saying, ”The goal of the bank is to be the number one in the hearts and minds of our customers and, being a world class organisation, we are joining other global organisations in the celebration of our esteemed customers.”

Balogun added, ”The objective is to celebrate and appreciate our esteemed customers for their patronage, recognise their loyalty and focus on their feedback, so that we can improve our level of service and customer intimacy.”

Customer service week is a period in the month of October, when customers are celebrated and appreciated by organisations over a particular week. It is also a time to raise awareness on customer service and the vital role it plays in an organisation and honour the people who support and serve these customers.

The statement added that the bank had announced October 25 to 29 as the FCMB Customer Service Week, with the theme, “Customer First.”

Balogun said, ”This theme buttresses its focus on three main points- to re-emphasise our customer first strategy, re-affirm our commitment to building a long lasting relationship, which supports customers’ businesses and provide true memorable customer experiences.”
