JUDGING by the growing number of cultural festivals and related tourism events billed to unfold across the country, November could easily pass for a ‘tourism month’ in the tourism calendar of the country (though none exists yet officially).
This is one month where people would be treated to some of the best cultural tourism products of the country, ranging from traditional festivals – cultural celebrations - to sport tourism; these events are designed to popularise some of the tourist destinations in the country.
The first place to catch up with the cultural train is the northern part of the country where the Eid el Kabir Festival is expected to be heralded by the staging of the Durbar celebration in most of the emirates – major cities and towns.
