Why I’m supporting Goodluck— Sammie Okposo

The two campaign songs currently running on different stations across the country drumming support for Goodluck Jonathan was written and produced by Sammie Okposo. “I’m a citizen of Nigeria and I have the right to support whoever I’m convinced is good for the job irrespective of my profession.”, he explained.
“Contrary to people’s opinion that I was paid for my recent political activities, it was not motivated by money.
The money collected was my professional fee for producing those songs. We should all rise up to our responsibility and support what is right for our country. We cannot afford to sit down and fold our arms anymore.
One of the dividends of the entertainers support for the president was the $200m recently promised by the president to help elevate the standard of the industry and this is just the beginning”, said newly married Sammie.
The talented gospel artiste and Globacom Ambassador, Sammie Okposo, is ready to engage his fans after four years of releasing his last album – No More Drama.
The new album, according to his publicist, will hit the shelves by the end of this month (November). It’s  a double CD release containing 12 tracks each. Some of the tracks on the albums are Praise Way featuring Bouqui, You Are Welcome, Jesu (Remix) featuring Memo, Big God, Celebrate, I Go Dance, Na So, God is Good, Turn By Turn, Bless His Only Name, Amazing Love, among others.
On why it has taken him such a long time to follow up on his last album, the multi_award winning act revealed that he was only trying to maximize all the potentials of the last album. “ It is one of the best decisions I have taken in my career”, he said.
Okposo’s new album will be released by Zamar Entertainment and distributed by Ehbbiy Ventures. It will be followed next year by album unveiling concert and promotional tours in African countries, Europe and America.
