This strike over new minimum wage will be total, says Odah

LAST week, at the end of its National Executive Council meeting, held at Labour House, Abuja, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) vowed to bring government’s business to a halt, if by November 9, 2010, it failed to implement the new minimum wage. In this interview with journalists after the meeting, NLC General Secretary, John Odah, stated why the strike is imperative, among other issues. DELE FANIMO was there. Excerpts:
