Christy-Essien Igbokwe: ‘My Life, My Music’

Veteran musician Christy-Essien Igbokwe (MFR) needs no introduction as her antecedents, particularly in the entertainment world, speak volumes.  The Lady of Songs also known as Apena in the popular television drama series ‘The Masquerade’ will, on Thursday, November 11, turn 50.
Apart from celebrating her birthday, the former and only female president of the Performing Musicians’ Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN), will also on that day be honoured with Honorary Fellowship Award by the Institute of Corporate and Business Affairs Management, Nigeria.
