The Ghanaian Ambassador to Benin Republic, Modestus Ahiable, has urged the Nigerian government to ensure free, fair and credible general elections in 2011.
Mr. Ahiable told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Cotonou on Monday that credible polls would engender peace and stability in Nigeria and the entire West African sub-region.
“For elections to be successful, first of all, the judges or those who are overseeing the elections must be fair. They must be seen to be honest people who are ready to be sure and be clear in their minds that only the winner is declared the winner.”
