SAMSON SIASIA
The snow in London has forced Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia to change his plan to meet with Chelsea midfielder Mikel Obi.
Siasia was scheduled to discuss with Mikel after watching him play against Manchester United on Sunday but the match was cancelled due to a freezing weather.
Siasia‘s flight from Turkey to London was also affected by the weather, forcing the former U-23 team coach to travel to Belgium.
The Nigeria Football Federation Chief Media Officer Ademola Olajire, told our correspondent in Lagos on Sunday that Siasia visited Fenerbahçe‘s Joseph Yobo and Karabukspor Emmanuel Emenike in Turkey.
According to him, the former Flying Eagles coach is likely to stay in Belgium until the London weather becomes friendlier to allow air traffic. That will mean watching Mikel in action against Arsenal on Monday.
Siasia is also expected to use his trip to England to convince Sunderland‘s Nedum Onuoha to play for Nigeria.
