The former member of the Nigeria Football Federation stressed that she was proud of the national team and Perpetua.
She said, ”The consistency of Falcons over the years has never been in doubt. The team won the AWC in style and generally the players were wonderful.
”Perpetua was outstanding and she again won the best player of the year. The country was listed in the special awards because of the achievement of the women’s teams.
“The country also did well at the women’s U-17 and U-20 World Cups. I am so proud of the players.
”We have many talents in this country and we have to work hard to bring out the best in these players at continental and global events.”
