The desire of the new board of management of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Idiaraba to give a fresh breath and new hope of health care for the teeming population from Lagos and its environs as well as to as many who deserve the best medical treatment within the West-Africa sub-region has eventually seen the light of day.
Tagged the new LUTH Initiative, the brain child of the Dr. Omotayo Dairo-led management team was unveiled last week at the investiture of former President Olusegun Obasanjo at an impressive ceremony well attended by several dignitaries in the medical field across the country and in the diaspora.
Speaking during the unveiling of the new project initiative, Chairman of LUTH Management Board, Dr. Dairo, explained that the concept was conceived to improve on healthcare delivery in LUTH and to ensure a sustainable growth in the 21th century and beyond.
